YOUTH MINISTRY

I am pleased that both Youth Groups have been so enthusiastic about planning events and activities to do together throughout the upcoming months! Many thanks to Ryan Dawson, our Council youth rep, for helping coordinate various activities with all our youth (and for agreeing with me that “skydiving” is probably not going to happen, j/s). I’ve designed this page to share all of the youth’s happenings, and also upcoming youth events that are scheduled each month.

Here are a couple of important points I want to share for the well-being and safety of all. For most events, students are permitted to bring ONE guest. Permission slips AND Emergency Contact forms are required for ALL that are attending. Also, anyone that might be interested in helping with youth events must have clearances on file in my office. If you might be willing to lead or chaperone any future activities, please let me know? I will be happy to give you the necessary form to fill out to receive your clearances (there is no cost), and you’ll receive a copy also for your personal files.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or thoughts you might have? I would also like to ask if you have suggestions about possible youth activities or are willing to help with one or more events, to please let me know. We’d greatly appreciate having you with us!

The 5th and 6th grade youth had a great time at their recent skating event (pictures attached). I want to thank all of the students (and parents) for participating and helping make this an enjoyable time together. A special shout-out to Paul Todaro for getting out there to skate with the kids, too .. you’re VERY brave!

I’d also like to commend Mr. Stewart and Mr. Cessna’s 5th-6th graders for bringing so many of their friends to class on “Bring A Friend” Sunday last month, and sharing your love for Jesus with others.

Thanks to our 7th-12th grade youth for helping to make so many delicious treats for the Chocolate Social at your recent Lock-In. They were enjoyed by all!
